Grofomo
For organisers

Free ticketing that sells for you.

Grofomo is a free events platform for UK organisers: ticketing, the lineup, your event website, your contacts and your marketing in one place. You keep 100% of face value. Fans pay a booking fee of 7.50% + £0.25 per ticket at checkout, less than they pay on Skiddle or DICE today.

Built by people who actually put events on: festivals, club nights and venues, from the first lineup tease to the last scan on the gate.

The control room

One screen. Every moving piece.

Switch between the box office, the booking desk and the social calendar without changing tabs. It feels like the same product because it is.

  • Ticketing

Tiers, releases, group tickets, payment plans, comps, and discounts that apply themselves.

  • Marketing

Instagram and Facebook, email, push and WhatsApp, to your own audience, not a rented one.

  • Artist booking

Offers, fees, guest-list allocations and remittance invoices, all on the artist's record.

  • Run-of-show

Stages, event days and set times on one axis. Volunteers, vendors and suppliers alongside.

  • Live analytics

Sales against a target, sell-through by tier, door counts by gate, year on year.

What does Grofomo do?

A lot, actually. We replace these point solutions.

  • TicketingEventbrite, Skiddle, DICE
  • Social schedulingLater, Buffer, Hootsuite
  • Artist bookingMuzeek, Prism.fm, Master Tour
  • Run-of-showNotion, Airtable, Google Sheets
  • Event websiteSquarespace, Webflow, Wix
  • CRM and emailMailchimp, HubSpot, Klaviyo

Six tools. Six logins. Six invoices. One platform from now on.

We were running a 3,000-cap festival on six different tools held together with spreadsheets and prayers. Grofomo replaced all of them in a weekend, and our advance team actually slept this year.

Frequently asked

Answers to the things everyone asks first.

It is free? Really? Where is the catch?
Really. You never get an invoice from us. There is no subscription, no listing fee, no per-seat charge and nothing to pay for the marketing tools. We earn from the booking fee added at checkout, the same fee every ticketing platform charges: ours is 7.50% + £0.25, lighter than Skiddle or DICE, and you receive the full face value of every ticket. Card processing comes out of our side, not yours.
The catch, if you want to call it one, is that you sell your tickets through Grofomo. That is what makes the rest of it work: once your sales run through the platform it knows who bought, what they bought, who came last year and who never opened your last email, and that is what turns a mailing list into an audience you can actually sell to. Bolt the marketing onto someone else's checkout and you are back to exporting spreadsheets.
When do I get paid?
Money from ticket sales is held on your own Stripe account and released automatically three days after your event ends. Paying out after the event is what protects your buyers if a date moves or cancels, which is why the industry works this way. If you need the funds sooner, you can request an early release.
Can I move over from Skiddle, Eventbrite or whoever I am on now?
Yes. We read Skiddle order exports directly, so last year's sales come across as history you can actually report against rather than a folder of spreadsheets. Your whole ticket catalogue imports and exports as a CSV, and your contacts import with duplicate detection, so you are not merging lists by hand. On other platforms, send us an export and we will tell you straight away whether we can read it.
Which social channels can I publish to?
Instagram and Facebook, from a single draft: feed images, carousels, video and reels on Instagram, plus posts, video, reels and stories on Facebook.
The bigger win is usually the channels nobody else gives you: WhatsApp campaigns from your own number, email to your own buyer list, and a phone alert to everyone who saved your event.
Does the gate scanning work without service?
Every ticket carries a QR that scans offline, so a field with no signal does not stop the door. You set up a check-in list per gate, add your staff with a rotating share code, and see checked-in against total in near real time. Duplicate scans, wrong-day tickets and ones already transferred are flagged as they happen, and anything scanned in error can be undone.
What do I get before I sell a single ticket?
Your event page and directory listing, the website builder, the lineup builder, your artist roster and bookings, news and articles, the media and creative tools, and the whole ticket setup. Build the entire event, show it to your team, and decide about ticketing afterwards. Nobody asks you for a card.
Sell your tickets through Grofomo and the marketing suite, WhatsApp, email, social publishing and phone alerts, switches on too, still at no cost to you.
Switching

Stop running your next event on duct tape.

You do not have to move everything at once. Put your next date on Grofomo alongside your current platform, import last year’s sales from a Skiddle export or a CSV, and see what the marketing tools do with an audience that is actually yours. If it works, the rest follows.
