Tailor Jae

Born and raised in East London to Ghanaian parents, Tailor Jae developed her unique DJ style through self-teaching and a passion for heavy bass and experimental sounds. She is recognized for her quick mixes and high-energy sets that defy genre boundaries, incorporating elements of garage, house, jungle, dubstep, grime, and drill. After winning a Mixmag DJ competition and earning a scholarship at Point Blank Music School, she has performed at prominent venues including Fabric, Ibiza, and Leeds Festival. Tailor Jae also founded the Heavy On The Bass (HOTB) brand and has released music on labels such as UTTU, SZNS7N, and GD4YA. Her 2023 debut single “The Wheel” gained BBC Radio 6 Music’s Future Track of the Day honor, reflecting her rising influence across UK bass and club music scenes.
