Can Grofomo actually replace Eventbrite for a 20,000-person event?

Yes — and we routinely do. Our scanning apps work offline, our Stripe integration handles enterprise volume, and our refund/transfer tools cover every edge case your support team has ever cursed about. We'll migrate your existing ticket buyers for you on plans over 5,000 tickets.

What's the deal with the 1.4% fee? Is there a catch?

No catch. 1.4% platform fee + your normal Stripe processing (1.5% + 20p). We pass nothing on to the buyer unless you choose to. Most competitors charge 3–7% and then layer per-ticket fees on top. The maths gets ugly fast on larger events.

How does the social scheduling integrate with ticketing?

Every scheduled post can carry a unique referral code that ties back to a ticket tier. When you drop the lineup at 9am, the dashboard shows you which platform converted, which artist drove which slice of revenue, and which post got cross-tagged the most. It's the closest thing to attribution that this industry has.

Can I move my existing artist contracts and box-office data over?

Yes. CSV import for past sales is one click. For contracts and rider PDFs, our team will handle the migration manually — typically 3–5 business days for a single-event roster. We've moved festivals with 80+ artist agreements without losing a row.

Does the gate-scanning app work without service?

Yes. We pre-cache the entire valid-ticket list to each scanning device on event day. Scans queue locally and sync the moment a device reconnects. Duplicate-scan detection works across devices once they catch up. Tested at festivals in fields with zero LTE.

Who actually uses this — agencies, festivals, or venues?

All three. Roughly 60% of our customers run multi-day festivals, 25% are independent venues programming weekly, and 15% are agencies producing on behalf of brands. The platform scales the same way for all of them — you'd just use different modules more heavily.
