Jack DiY

Jack DiY is a pioneering figure in the UK's underground house music scene, with roots tracing back to the late 1980s and early 1990s free party movement. As a founding member of the DiY Sound System, he helped establish a culture of rave and rebellion characterized by grassroots organizing and a focus on music over profit. Jack has been an enduring presence in diverse settings ranging from squatted warehouses and muddy fields to clubs and festivals, maintaining the free party ethos and spirit throughout his career. Currently based in London, he co-organizes the inclusive "You Are Here" club night, promoting deep underground house music without VIP divisions. Jack's work spans from local Nottingham events to international venues like Ibiza, consistently supporting a community-driven approach to dance culture.
