Bashkka

Originally spending about a decade in New York, BASHKKA developed her artistic identity deeply influenced by the city's Ballroom scene and Black & Brown trans women. Returning to Munich in 2016, she engaged actively in the queer artist community and secured a residency at the renowned Blitz Club. Her music style incorporates elements of house, techno, trance, and booty house, crafting energetic and club-centric performances. In 2023, she released her debut solo EP titled "Maktub" on the UMAY label, further establishing her presence within the electronic music scene. BASHKKA has also performed at major international events, including Glastonbury, and continues to be recognized for her vibrant contributions as a DJ, producer, and activist.
