Baalti

Baalti formed in 2020 as a duo focused on creating underground dance music that incorporates South Asian sounds and rhythmic influences. Their early releases appeared on labels like Krunk Kulture, establishing a style that fuses elements of deep house, breaks, and garage with distinctive South Asian samples. Their debut self-titled EP was released in 2021, followed by further projects such as "Better Together" in 2023 on Seb Wildblood’s All My Thoughts and "Mela" in 2025 on Steel City Dance Discs. Their music has gained critical attention from prominent electronic music media, reflecting a deep engagement with both UK-influenced club music and Indian musical heritage. They are based in Brooklyn, New York, United States, though some sources also note ties to San Francisco.
