ANZ

ANZ, born Anna-Marie Odubote, is a London-born, Manchester-based British DJ and producer recognized for her dynamic and eclectic approach to UK club music. Her sound masterfully blends a wide spectrum of genres including electro, UK garage, jungle, breaks, grime, bassline, house, afrobeat, footwork, and highlife, pushing the boundaries of contemporary electronic music. She emerged on the scene with her self-titled debut EP in 2017 and has since released notable projects such as Invitation 2 Dance (2019), a third EP on Hessle Audio (2020), and All Hours on Ninja Tune (2021). In early 2021, she founded her own label, OTMI, further establishing her presence in the music industry. ANZ is also known for her production mixes and dubs series, composed entirely of original productions, highlighting her creative depth. Her impact and influence have been recognized through accolades like DJ Mag’s 2020 Breakthrough DJ award and radio residencies including NTS Radio and BBC Radio 1’s Dance Residency beginning in March 2021. After studying in Liverpool, she relocated to Manchester, where she continues to be a vital figure in the local and international electronic music scenes.
